Description

Offered here is an exceptional 2001 BMW Z8 finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over a Black leather interior. Powered by BMW Motorsport's legendary 4.9-liter S62 V8 engine producing 400 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque, this iconic roadster is paired with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission.

Built with an advanced all-aluminum chassis and body, the Z8 was engineered with the engine positioned behind the front axle to achieve near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution. BMW claimed a 0-62 mph time of just 4.7 seconds, while independent testing recorded even quicker acceleration figures. The electronically limited top speed is 155 mph.

The Z8's distinctive design incorporates innovative neon exterior lighting, including neon-powered tail lamps and turn indicators that illuminate faster than conventional bulbs and were engineered to last the lifetime of the vehicle.

Every BMW Z8 was delivered with a factory color-matched removable hardtop, complete with rear defroster. Unlike many accessory hardtops, the Z8 hardtop was designed from the beginning as an integral part of the vehicle's styling, perfectly complementing the elegant roadster profile.

The interior was designed with simplicity and driver focus in mind. BMW integrated multiple convenience functions into multifunction controls to reduce clutter, while the center-mounted instrument cluster was angled toward the driver and positioned to provide an unobstructed view of the hood and road ahead.

This example comes complete with all books, keys, factory hardtop, and cup holder. The original coffee table book is not included and remained with the original owner.
